Returns and refunds

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with current consumer regulations, the customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without needing to justify the reason and without any penalty, except for the direct costs of return, which will be borne by the customer.

Additionally, Saboreando Galicia voluntarily extends this period and offers a return policy of up to 30 days from the date of purchase. After 30 days from the purchase date, we will not be able to offer a refund or exchange.


Conditions for return

To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in perfect condition, unopened, and in the original packaging, just as it was received.

To complete your return, you will need to present a receipt or proof of purchase. Do not send your purchase directly to the manufacturer.


Products excluded from the right of return

Certain types of products are excluded from the right of return, in accordance with applicable regulations. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Perishable products, such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines.

  • Products that may deteriorate or expire quickly.

  • Sealed products that are not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons, when they have been unsealed after delivery.

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases.

  • Intimate or sanitary products.

Additional items that cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards.

  • Downloadable software products.

  • Some health and personal care items.


Partial refunds

There are certain situations in which only partial refunds can be granted, such as:

  • Book with obvious signs of use.

  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape or vinyl record that has been opened.

  • Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts due to causes not attributable to Saboreando Galicia.

  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.


Refunds

Once the return has been received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the receipt of the item and the approval or rejection of the refund.

If approved, the refund will be processed and automatically applied to the original payment method within a reasonable number of days, depending on the bank or payment provider.


Late or unreceived refunds

If you haven't received your refund yet, we recommend:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact the entity that issued your credit card.

  3. Contact your bank, as processing may take a few days.

Items on sale

Items purchased on sale or at a discount are also subject to the legal right of withdrawal, under the same terms as products at a normal price.


Changes

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you need to exchange a product for the same item, you must send us an email to info@saboreandogalicia.com and send the article to the following address:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and shipped directly to the recipient, they will receive a gift credit for the value of the return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift or the order was first sent to the person who made the purchase, the refund will be made to the original purchaser, who will be informed of the return.

Return shipping costs will be borne by the customer, except in the case of defective, damaged or incorrectly sent products, in which case Saboreando Galicia will assume these costs.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable. In the event of a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund amount, where applicable.

Depending on your location, the time it takes to receive an exchange may vary. If you are sending an item valued at over €50, we recommend using a tracked shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your return if you do not use a tracked shipping method.
